fliieiieilie Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 Is there anyone who can post a pic of a Rolex with a leather strap? I'm tired of mine being mistaken for a Casio or Dakota.
Guest TTK Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 I don't think you could mistake any of these for a Casio.....
fliieiieilie Posted March 31, 2006 Author Report Posted March 31, 2006 TTK; You are right. That is a beauty! Is it for sale?
Watchwatcher Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 (edited) i have a brown croc strap with ss polex clasp. it came on polex from josh but the strap was too small so i took it off. if you are interested in the strap, have a smaller wrist and are conus, i can measure this and send you a pic. just pm. good luck. fliieiieilie Posted March 31, 2006 Author Report Posted March 31, 2006 I love having the strap. Whoops! That doesn't sound good.
chrgod Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 You could always go for vintage... or the little-loved Cellini...
Guest Carl Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 My Datejust daily beater from Silix: Keeps good time too!
XRT Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 These aren't really my style, but I did try it out a while back. Here are some pics I found of some of my watches with gator straps on the old RWG.
chrgod Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 (edited) GMT-Master and Explorer II on leather.... That looks weird. In my mind, Rolex Tool watches are supposed to be on steel bracelet... After all, a Steel band is "The Rolex trade mark "... Edited April 1, 2006 by chrgod
Guest Carl Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 Well, Saddam, I agree. The leather bands look odd on those watches. Particularly with the white stitching. But look again at my datejust. Or JUST go to the Rolex website for another view.
alligoat Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 @ XRT, That Explorer II with the white face and brown (croc) strap looks good for a change of pace. But I'm partial to brown leather straps anyway.
