No wolves, the gate keeps them off the deck. But the bears climb right over.

I am really surprised seeing these bears approaching humans houses ? They should stay in the woods...but they are not afraid

That's the thing, I live in the mountains so we are used to having them around all the time. We have wolves, bears, Lynx, moose, you name it. I'm really lucky to live here.

Another "almost" midnight photo, it's 11:30 and the sun is up, my friend down the mountain is running his chain saw, I have my guitar and a nice Malbec on the deck, it's a warm evening (60 degrees still!) and it won't get any darker tonight. This is heaven on earth.

This is how bright the yard is when I don't point the camera at the sky. It's as bright as noon on winter solstice.
