No wolves, the gate keeps them off the deck. But the bears climb right over.

I am really surprised seeing these bears approaching humans houses ? They should stay in the woods...but they are not afraid :meeting:

That's the thing, I live in the mountains so we are used to having them around all the time. We have wolves, bears, Lynx, moose, you name it. I'm really lucky to live here. :tu:

Another "almost" midnight photo, it's 11:30 and the sun is up, my friend down the mountain is running his chain saw, I have my guitar and a nice Malbec on the deck, it's a warm evening (60 degrees still!) and it won't get any darker tonight. This is heaven on earth.

This is how bright the yard is when I don't point the camera at the sky. It's as bright as noon on winter solstice. :wub:

Okee mcdokee, here's midnight last New Years eve, with just a hint of northern lights ... same angle, same view.
