mead861 Posted June 30, 2017 Report Posted June 30, 2017 This build starts with these ingredients 1. Gen 16200 case with engine turned bezel 2. Yuki 3135 Serviced by tickleshoes. 3. Refurb.Roman dial from ebay. 4. Yuki crown 5. Yuki bracelet 6. Generic 3135 / 3035 hands from ebay This build started by gather all the parts. Tickleshoes did a great job servicing this yuki 3135 movement and in fact run at COSC. Installing the dial: Installing the hands: It's starting to look like a watch now. Getting ready to install in case Getting ready to install case screws: Installed in case. The Yuki 3135 looks good and make the building process very easy because gen. parts fit and the movement fits in the case with out a movement ring as required in 28XX builds. In the case and ready for the bracelet. Wrist shot: Test results after service and bracelet as been installed This was a very fun build I really like the roman dial in white. Thanks again to Tickleshoes for servicing the movement, he does great work! 1
automatico Posted June 30, 2017 Report Posted June 30, 2017 That is a very good looking watch! The dial is well done too. No one will ever know the engine came from a Chevelle and not a Corvette.
sukiv Posted July 30, 2017 Report Posted July 30, 2017 Hello mead, can I ask you which crown size did you go for?
mead861 Posted July 30, 2017 Author Report Posted July 30, 2017 I used the Yuki 5.3 small tube crown. http://www.yukiwatch.com/catalog/item/6784664/10289013.htm The 162xx takes the smaller tube size.
