Legend Posted January 29, 2018 Report Posted January 29, 2018 After 8 iterations (actually many more if you consider all the factories producing replicas of this iconic watch), they have not managed to get this perfect, but that is to be expected of this as well as any other watches in the hobby. In general, progress is being made toward the quality of replicas, but details will both improve and regress with each iteration. The 904L steel is a nice touch. I doubt there will ever be a perfect 1:1 sub rep but striving for a "believable on the wrist" rep is definitely reason. That criteria will vary for each one of us though. 2

Phener9 Posted April 14, 2018 Report Posted April 14, 2018 The bezel insert platinum highlights look brighter, but the xtal is the same with poor AR on the cyclops, the sel links don’t seem to bad to me. The crucial issue is does the 904L steel improve the watches authenticity. I am holding off until a trusted in-depth review. Might just get a V7, we will see.
