Money vs Daytona?

A business partner owes me money and recently went to pawn his rose gold Daytona to pay me back. The pawn shop offering 17,250USD for the watch below with no box or papers.

 

I have the option to take cash or watch? Which one should I go for? Condition looks mint.

Take the Daytona if it's gen and if you really like it.

Otherwise, cash offers much greater flexibility.

Take the cash. Then take your time, should you desire, to choose your own watch unless the daytona happens to be the specific one that you fancy.

No reason to take a watch even if it is priced below market, if you do not have a liking for it.

Obviously it depends on your circumstances but cash in itself is not an appreciating asset  a daytona is . Personally I'd take the cash and buy a classic car

I would take the money and buy a watch that you want have some money left over to do what ever you want, if you don't need the money that is.
