mead861 Posted October 1, 2018 Report Posted October 1, 2018 Hello, I started this Tudor ranger build using all the design elements that I like. I wanted something in 34mm because its small and comfortable to wear. Gen Rolex 15000 case Yuki dial Eta 2824 clone Generic snowflake hands Yuki Bracelet Removing the cyclops from the crystal Disclaimer: I know that Tudor never made a red Ranger with snowflake hand...etc. 1
jimcon11 Posted October 2, 2018 Report Posted October 2, 2018 Nice build! Tudor is my favorite watch brand and I prefer smaller watches so I can see myself building something very similar in the future. Was the gen case pricey? I'd probably go for a rose dial if anyone makes them. The hands are a bit different but it's a good look, have you thought about aging the lume on them to match the dial?
jmb Posted October 3, 2018 Report Posted October 3, 2018 Interesting interpretation, I like thinking outside the box.
mead861 Posted October 3, 2018 Author Report Posted October 3, 2018 I'm nervous about aging the hands. I might see if I can find some pre-aged hands
bobandshawn Posted October 4, 2018 Report Posted October 4, 2018 Just buy some cheap hands and give it a go...
mead861 Posted October 11, 2018 Author Report Posted October 11, 2018 (edited) I tried the oven method to age the hands but really didn't like the outcome. They are not perfect put I'm happy. Edited October 11, 2018 by mead861 1
DVNE Posted October 16, 2018 Report Posted October 16, 2018 Nice! reminds me of the gen ranger with gen snowflake hands. 1
