DG2813 to Eta 2824 or 2836?

Recommended Posts

Saw post from 2016 regarding switch to Eta, never answered. I'm in the same boat. DG2813 crapped out. I have an ETA 2824 and 2836 for the swap. I have extra spacers, hands for eta, extra stems, glue/epoxy and sticky tabs for swap. I understand 2813 stem height is 2.5 and 2824 is 1.8. concerned about stem. Went to watchmaker he said couldn't be done. Any advice?

Stick a new 2813 in, cheap as chips, no stress and will see you good for another 18-24 months...or more!
