xgeryx
Hello guys! Just wanted to share this stunning build by the master himself RoloJack I’m sure he will post better photos but in the meantime I figured to update you on my original build plan the smooth bezel one. Unfortunately I’m not allowed to post on that thread anymore so here it goes. I wanna thank to meadowsweet for the spare parts from his previous 6541 project. For all the members here who helped me with their advices and of course to RoloJack for the beautiful result Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nanuq
That's a nice result. I tried three times to build one that was barely decent, enough so that I could wear it and not feel the shame of a disastrous monstrosity on my wrist. I failed. Each one was worse than the last. I was pretty sure it couldn't be done. But this? My God, you've done it. I know how thin these things are, and how tiny. That 6mm crown centered on the case tells the story. The details are almost all there, and it looks like.... well, it looks like a gen that's been living in a safe after having been worn for a decade when new. Everything just fits, it's tiny, it's thin ... what an accomplishment. Serious respect! This is a masterpiece.
ogladio
+1 on what Nanuq said, achieving that case profile is very impressive. The 6541 is one of the hardest vintage Rolex models to build, mainly due to lack of decent case to start from. Very gen like feel to that one!
