The movement ref you’re providing is a date movement. But I bet it’s the same movement without the date wheel and mechanism disengaged.
Ofrei sells them for $162

Yeah, only issue is that leaves phantom position on crown.

Ah ok, i though date was on position 2 though. So surely you would have a lot of travel between position 1 for winding and position 3 for time?

Yes, there would be a redundant setting position.

Only way around it would be to swap in a no date setting lever (if it exists?)

I ended up buying the noob v10 116610 guys. Will be looking for gen 3135 movement parts along the way now

You can make a 2824-2 or 2836-2 or 2846 movement in to a no-date movement by simply replacing the combined setting lever to the one used in an ETA 2840.

Buy a broken ETA 2840 (or a swatch watch with ETA 2840) and extract that combined setting lever
