skjalg
Hmmm Cant se any AR on that one and I believe the navitimer World has heavy AR but the reps around dont got any! If we could get the serialnumber of the back perhaps we could compare to the Rep: http://www.ttwristwatch.com/index.php?main...products_id=996 The sunken date looks suspect. the slide rule numbers don't even come close to lining up either. he says he bought in the net. uh-oh. b16a2
Hmm... I'm almost 100% sure thats a rep. The font doesn't look right for starters, and it's very low!! The 'B' on the end of the stopwatch second hand doesn't look like the genuine either!

supermanx
Oh oh, someone called him out on it. wonder what he would say next? He said it was the best rep ever made, but he was sending it back... His master watchmaker was fooled, and he was trained by patek. (Even the moderator said it looked good to him.) Then they deleted the thread.

flavor flav
i cannot believe his "watchmaker" couldn't figure out it's a rep..... he must think all reps have a cheap quartz or asian 21j movement... wow.
b16a2
These replica forums, although some genuine owners don't agree with them, are a valuable insight into spotting replicas!!
chrono903
unfortunately that is the ugly side of reps. People using them for financial gain by ripping off the unsuspecting and uneducated.

I dont think he took it to any "watchmaker". Most "watchmakers" can tell an asian 7750 from an eta, or at least realize it doesn't look quite right. I think he just said that to make himself not look like he was the only person that was fooled. I think A couple of the BCE's that have been posted in the last week are reps too, an awful lot of people have bought "gen" graphite dial BCE's in the last week.
