scoobs1971 Posted March 1, 2007 Author Report Posted March 1, 2007 Old people love those. He is really going to kill me if I call him an old guy, hahaha. But thnx for the tip!
alligoat Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 You need to get him a datejust for his birthday. Old people love those. Hey, wait a minute, I resemble that remark! And besides, I kinda like my two frankenjusts. I like to think of them as understated elegance and refinement. LOL.
retep Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Hey, wait a minute, I resemble that remark! And besides, I kinda like my two frankenjusts. I like to think of them as understated elegance and refinement. LOL. So you`re an old guy right? Runs and ducks
alligoat Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Runs and ducks???? Maybe you could explain that to Grandpa, retep!
stilty Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 You need to get him a datejust for his birthday. Old people love those. I second that! I built my dad a Franken just a few years back. He loves it and wears it everyday. Very classy, durable, and not too flashy! Built with genuine parts so I'm not worried about it crapping out. Just as long as he doesn't take it to an AD or other for service and sends it back to me if there is a problem. No worries of someone calling him out as a fake either... can't tell the difference unless you open the case.
TWP Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Many worse things you could have caught him doing. Plastic ladies watch...hmmmm....perhaps a nice IWC GST TI for him.
