The starting timeframe is a few weeks. I might want to push it out beyond tax day. We'll see. Check out my AR Reference Thread and the section on AR stripping. I was able to successfully strip the rep coating off my Breitling Seawolf Avenger Ti crystal. Lacquer thinner and #0000 steel wool were the ticket. The crystal survived and I'm sending it in for coating in round 2. What kind of watch is it? It should be noticeable if it's there. You can angle it so that you can see a reflection from an overhead light source in it. The reflection should have a slightly bluish tint (possibly greenish or yellowish depending on AR type, but those are uncommon) if it is AR coated.
