  1. Guys, Need a little help here. I have an opportunity to purchase a 16750 w/pepsi bezel from a local jeweler for $2500. The serial number starts with 66 and after checking references, that would indicate a 1980-81 model with the quick set functionality. It has been serviced by a Rolex AD and also has had the dial redone and a new raised crystal (I believe its mineral) installed. I see some models going for approx. $5k on the 'bay, but want to confirm I may have a deal here. From all indications, it seems that this jeweler does not realize what he has (he indicated it was a late 80's model to me). I have opened it up and inspected the movement, from what I can tell, it is all legit. Please lend me your thoughts.......it will be greatly appreciated. Jeff
  2. A dominant victory for USC.....your D is sick. Sanchez looks like the real deal, and TOSU chokes again...... I am impressed with the dynasty that Carroll has put together, hopefully we (Miami) can get back to that point.... Congrats, USC is clearly the class of this year's college football teams.......
  3. I would be interested in a few as well....
  4. USF goes as their QB Groethe goes.....get pressure on him and they are toast. Oregon did it against USF in the Sun Bowl and they smoked the bulls (something like 56-20). Honestly though, Id rather be playing USF than what we have for our 2nd game, Gators in the Swamp. 23 days till opening kickoff.......
  5. Never. We are going to surprise the ACC (cant do much worse than last year at 5-7).......we will see how good UCF is after they play South Florida in week 2
  6. would love the numbers for crown and tube for the 45mm PO.
  7. I like how he is taking pictures of the face at an angle to hide the sunken datewheel. Further, nice BS story about "people taking advantage of the sale." The D-Bag deserves to be ripped off......
  8. thanks for posting the pics, great quality too.
  9. excellent shots and review, this pushed me over the edge to get one. thanks lanikai!!!
  10. silix has the watches on 24-20 straps, so I would understand that it is the 46mm version
  11. agree, but I actually have a gen dial to fit the montbrilliant, dont ask me how, but I do.
  12. I appreciate the post as well, I do try to read all reviews - but need to get in the habit of paying credit where credit is due (perhaps a new year's resolution??). In any case, I would like to know the dealer who accurately represented his claims - only if you have no issue with that, as I think it benefits the community as a whole.
  13. I am on my second go around with Chief, simply because of the fact the results are stunning and he is excellent with communication. I am excited to see the results of the new coating process, it looks quite promising. Pretty much, from what I have seen, if you are in the states/canada - go with chief, and in europe go with k2222 - there is no way you will be disappointed.
  14. you know, I love this watch hands down. But that pearl still gets me, though this one is closer to where it needs to be. I blame this board for making me so anal when it comes to my reps - before I would have lived with an off-center pearl without a doubt. anyways, great watch yaron - wear it well...........
  15. V - looks like you are on Ponce in Coral Gables if I'm not mistaken.........
  16. Thanks for the Updates Angus, I am eagerly anticipating the release of this YM!!!!!
  17. Excellent Review!!!!!!!!!! Makes me miss the hell out of my YM......
  18. yep, just as I suspected. I need the lume job......
  19. Beautiful!!! I have the same Navitimer World GMT with Chieftang's double AR crystal and the result is stunning. Could I see a lume shot of the GMT if you dont mind?
  20. Italiano, Is that a new rep buckle or a gen strap/buckle? VERY NICE!!!
