Guest HeWhoIsLikeGod
Paul newman was on the Jay Leno Show tonight and guess what he was wearing? A Timex, no just kidding, he was wearing what I am guessing was a genuine Paul Newman Daytona. I wonder if he just has a whole closet of those things sitting around. Anyway, it was neat to see the man himself wearing such a beautiful watch, I thought I would share.
rek001
That's very cool. More details please - was it gold, steel, what color dial?
sgv
I saw about a minute of this, when I was flipping around. What was he eating out of that can? Was that dog food? That's all I saw. Nice watch. Fast Eddie has moved up in the world. sv
SubFrog
I didn't see it, but I read somewhere today that he was, in fact, eating dog food. Any word on this? What the hell is this all about? Ha Ha. Well, I'm sure he could have all the Paul Newman's he wants. I hope he has a closet full.
bkatbamna
I saw GalaxyQuest last night and Tim Allen was wearing a SS white faced Daytona.
I've Been Had'But Learning
That's very cool. More details please - was it gold, steel, what color dial? It was a SS with a black face w/white sub-dials.
shimside11
All he has to do is own them once (even for just a few days), document it, and he could make more in the secondary market than he makes with the Newman's Own stuff. Nice closet industry - kind of like Picasso signing doodles on coctail napkins. I know that Newman's Own goes to charity and he doesn't need the money, but maybe he could donate all the proceeds to helping Rolex stamp out counterfeiting...(sorry, couldn't resist...flame away if you must)
