Bazz
Unfortunately I am a fair way north so I cant point you in the direction of someone in SA and while I enjoy servicing/modding my watches I dont work on other peoples pieces. Have you tried a local independent watch maker? I found a guy near me who had no problem with reps and even had his father(retired watchmaker) make a left handed spring for my speedy! If Marrickvilleboy had not moved to the US of A he could have probably helped you out? perhaps he will be home soon?
onezero
Nicholas Hacko does a lot of work via post, have a chat with him about what you need done, make sure you explain that it is a rep and see how he feels about working on it, his prices might make it not-worthwhile but you never know. http://www.clockmaker.com.au/
