pwygant
Greetings, Since I have all macs, I have noticed a slight change in the last few weeks. Every time I "go back" to the main forum my cursor hangs for 5-6 seconds. Fairly annoying! Anybody else seeing this using a mac? I know we have bigger problems to deal with but I was just curious! //Pete
Craytonic
Yes this started about 2 weeks for me ago on my mac w/ safari. It hangs for about 10 seconds for me when I click "mark all read" and return to the main page. Really a drag, had to switch to firefox till it stops. Pix
Hi, I don't browse with Safari, I will try this evening. However no problem with Firefox. Maybe that can be a solution for you.
andreww
Using safari right now, I haven't experienced any "hanging". Try emptying the cache?

Jon Doh
Well, I reset the main forum index lilke the other user and bookmarked that page. Works fine now. //Cheers Go into preferences on your hard drive, go to the Safari folder and open it and then select the folder called "icons" and trash it. This folder keeps images to load on sites you frequent often to make browsing faster but it tends to get overloaded and cause hanging. Just clearing the cache won't empty it. Keyhole
I say forget about Safari and get a version of Firefox that has been optimized for your processor. Makes a world of difference. I don't have the link to where I download the optimized bundles here at work, but I will post it when I get home.
Keyhole
Actually I believe this is where to download the optimized bundles: http://www.furbism.com/firefoxmac/whichbuildforme/ I just cannot view the page here at work.
