Here is my gen Tissot Seastar. It is a lot of watch for the money. My favorite out of my entire collection.

Sometimes we get so caught up on our reps we forget there is some very nice (and cheap) gen's we should be looking at too.

If you are refering to the reflection of my hands on the crystal, it is nearly impossible to get a photo of the saph. crystal without some sort of reflection. The crystal is almost as domed as the 127 and my amatuer photo skills only add to the difficulty.

With regards to Kenberg's remarks, he's right...this truly is a steal for a gen watch. I paid just over $500 when they first came out at the end of '04. These Seastars are much better quality than any rep I've ever bought, 44mm wide, 14mm thick...This is really a quality piece...those of you who have them, you know. This sucker weighs in at over 180g too. I've got a NATO strap on the way that I'm going to throw on it. If the retail wasn't so low, I bet there would be reps of 'em.

Don't know how to post this so it's in the text field, not a clickable thumbnail, but here's a pic I shot of my gen Seastar 660 right after I bought it.

It's a beautiful watch, like your 1000. I've become a big fan of Tissot, and their service is great when you need it. I'm kinda partial to chronographs, and love the screw-down pushers on this one.
