lovepanerai Posted May 18, 2007 Report Posted May 18, 2007 I finally received my IWC Cousteau Divers Chrono - my good this ought to be the best replica I have, even considering my modded ones. I am not going to do a review, but I will share some of my pictures for your enjoyment and here are the wrist shots:
deltatahoe Posted May 18, 2007 Report Posted May 18, 2007 wow -- looks fantastic. your 12:00 markers look very well aligned, as do your day&date windows. thanks for posting pics...i've been waiting for this one for a while; i wanted to make sure the QC issues were sorted out before ordering, but yours looks spot on. EDIT to add, your picture of the caseback actually looks believable. most of the other pics have looked a little off. deltatahoe

ravishingrick Posted May 18, 2007 Report Posted May 18, 2007 Nice pictures of a very nice watch, congradulations. From whom did this come?
lovepanerai Posted May 18, 2007 Author Report Posted May 18, 2007 Nice pictures of a very nice watch, congradulations. From whom did this come? thanks - it came from TWP on RWI
Nebakanezzar Posted May 18, 2007 Report Posted May 18, 2007 Oh damn! that looks sweet! great pics! Think maybe we will have to hook up for a drink so I can inspect yer ne watch in person!
Usil Posted May 18, 2007 Report Posted May 18, 2007 Is the IWC Logo missing from the buckle or is it just not visible from reflection? Usil
ck986 Posted May 18, 2007 Report Posted May 18, 2007 The watch looks great. It looks like there is dust or dirt under the crystal.
nxuan Posted May 19, 2007 Report Posted May 19, 2007 These are by far the best pics. Thanks for sharing.
morgan Posted May 19, 2007 Report Posted May 19, 2007 I got one too from Andrew... amazing watch. One of my favorite reps w/o a doubt! I've always wanted an IWC but they are so small and girly sized. This one is perfect at 44mm!!!!
swdivad Posted May 19, 2007 Report Posted May 19, 2007 Great photos LP! That's it, I'm getting this one, can't wait any longer
lovepanerai Posted May 19, 2007 Author Report Posted May 19, 2007 Is the IWC Logo missing from the buckle or is it just not visible from reflection? Usil The Logo is there - I just did a poor job with pics, quick and dirty shots The watch looks great. It looks like there is dust or dirt under the crystal. There is no dust under the crystal - I checked with a loupe, I probably need to clean my sensor/lens To all: I appreciate your compliments and warm words - so I think you have earned some lume shots The last 2 are in comparison to my superlumed PAM196. The lume is not incredibly strong but it it is still visible after almost an hour (in complete darkness)
nxuan Posted May 19, 2007 Report Posted May 19, 2007 Excellent lume shots. The lume on the markers and hands is good but on the inner bezel is weak. Nevertheless, I do not see need to relumed. Now that lume quality is established. The last thing left to be checked is water resistant.
mircle Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 must have, very very nice. thanks for the pictures!
who Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 Your IWC is the best I seen in many. No crooked marker at all. They should use this one as a "standard".
FWATCH Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 Nice lume shots. It would be interesting to see a macro shot of the inner bezel lume to see why it looks "textured". Not all that offensive, IMHO, just different. Might have to get me one of these.

It almost looks like a very little person with very small hands and an itsy-bitsy, teeny-tiny brush dabbed some superlume over some regular lume. Or maybe it's just a thin layer. I almost kinda like the way it looks.
hilts Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 Awesome pics! Just took delivery of my 2nd one from TT - it is the greatest watch yet! Hilts
