Hi, my father gave me when I had my 18th birthday dis breitling datora that he bought in 1972 or 73. I decided to take some pics of the movement to share with you,,,it needs some restauration work as it has been without use for a couple of years now....I've sent it to breitling to evaluate how much the restauration would be including cleaning, etc...well put it as new and the cost is around 650eur so I haven't done it yet....but I hope to do it soon...this to say that the movement is aged and looks like that...

Also I'm a newbie regarding watch fotography, so forgive me if the pics are not the best qual:) anyways, hope you like it... cheers

Great "Watch porn" ;) Thanks for sharing.

The 7734 was widely used by different manufactures. I belive even the Soviet used the design as a base for their Poljit Chronographs.

thks for the comments. I'll take some pics of the watch as a whole and share it with you, and hopefully soon I'll be able to send it to breitling for the deserved restoration and then I'll share the pics when it's done, so to have a before and after :)

hope to do it in a couple of months.... :)

Great watch!!

Take a look at some of The Zigmeister's breakdown pictorials. His work is second to none, and I suspect a bit more affordable than 650 Euros on a 7734. I've seen him restore old movements that, on the outside, looked quite a bit dirtier than yours.
