cleobis Posted May 31, 2007 Report Share Posted May 31, 2007 Hi, my father gave me when I had my 18th birthday dis breitling datora that he bought in 1972 or 73. I decided to take some pics of the movement to share with you,,,it needs some restauration work as it has been without use for a couple of years now....I've sent it to breitling to evaluate how much the restauration would be including cleaning, etc...well put it as new and the cost is around 650eur so I haven't done it yet....but I hope to do it soon...this to say that the movement is aged and looks like that... Take a look at some of The Zigmeister's breakdown pictorials. His work is second to none, and I suspect a bit more affordable than 650 Euros on a 7734. I've seen him restore old movements that, on the outside, looked quite a bit dirtier than yours.
