wadan
Hi mates , I am contemplating a gen within a 2 K budget , I would like a smart casual watch with a classy feel , I now have Omega double eagle or Omega RailMaster 42mm in mind , Which one do you think is a winner ? or if you have other suggestions it would be great , Thanks in advance and cheers
b16a2
I would buy the blue SMP, or the GMT (black and silver bezel) with black dial.
crystalcranium
Genuine SMP Chrono. You can find them for around 2K. If you want a strap, I'd suggest an Oris Artilier Chronograph with the modified 7753 movement on a deployant croc strap. It'll set you back $1700 and they are beautiful. Seadweller4000
Wouldn't go for a gen SOSF, the rep is too good. I'd go for a Sinn U1 or if possible for a U2! Just can't beat the value...

archibald
I love my Tag Monaco, which can easily be bought for around 2 grand and which will never be accurately repped. Tags have good brand recognition (and thus pretty good resale value) if you care about that, and a classic design. Not sure I'd spend 2 grand on anything as well repped as a Breitling, Omega, etc.

drop
How about a vintage moonwatch? Can be gotten on Watchnet for about that amount... a classic.
jfreeman420
A pre owned datejust will always stand the test of time. Classic look and will hold it's value, if not appreciate. If Rolex isn't your thing my next choice would be an Omega.
seank1
Oris TT1 Diver $1,565.00 msrp. One heck of a watch for the price. Sean K
gioarmani
Saw a perfect-condition previously owned SMP chrono for $1895 last week. Only one year old and already almost 50% off--now if only Rolexes could do that...
