A gen within a 2K budget

Hi mates ,

I am contemplating a gen within a 2 K budget , I would like a smart casual watch with a classy feel ,

I now have Omega double eagle or Omega RailMaster 42mm in mind ,

Which one do you think is a winner ? or if you have other suggestions it would be great ,

I would buy the blue SMP, or the GMT (black and silver bezel) with black dial.

Genuine SMP Chrono. You can find them for around 2K.

If you want a strap, I'd suggest an Oris Artilier Chronograph with the modified 7753 movement on a deployant croc strap. It'll set you back $1700 and they are beautiful.

I love my Tag Monaco, which can easily be bought for around 2 grand and which will never be accurately repped. Tags have good brand recognition (and thus pretty good resale value) if you care about that, and a classic design. Not sure I'd spend 2 grand on anything as well repped as a Breitling, Omega, etc.

A pre owned datejust will always stand the test of time. Classic look and will hold it's value, if not appreciate.

If Rolex isn't your thing my next choice would be an Omega.
