I would only change the dial as the markers are a bit incorect plus it has that bold m in 300 m... and you would have a reallyt ultimate LV! Congrats! Rg tribal His service was OUTSTANDING - answered all PM's PROMPTLY - Shipping took 4 days door to door over a Holiday weekend. Although the bracelet looked great, I removed it and worked on it for about 30 minutes with fine rubbing compound - then soaked it in sewing machine oil overnight. I also worked in the edges of the bracelet for a bit - especially the clasp. The change in the look and "feel" was amazing. I was astounded at the "black crud" that came off. It is about 60% as bright as a Gen immediately after charging it up for 30/40 seconds. After 10/15 minutes the glow is about the same. After that both my Gen & Rep glow softly for several hours. The BIG difference are the 1st 15 minutes or so after "luming them up". No contest - the Gan wins by a mile - after that - about the same. No lume shots. If you look at PT's description of the piece, he describes it as "Movement in this piece is swiss ETA 2836" I heven't removed the back but I believe, based on his description that the movement is the standard brass colored Swiss ETA 2836. Category 5 Posted May 15, 2006 Report Share Posted May 15, 2006 Got mine! I love it! The green color looks spot on to me, unlike some which are too 'forresty". Anyone know where I can source a more accurate dial though? I am annoyed by the minute ticks being all the same thickness (should be thinner between the markers) and the bold m. Also, the S in submariner is a little slanted, and the crown could be a little truer I think. Date looks excellent, insert looks nice...even the pearl is nice. Lume is great on this one. Way better than my EL TT. Even the pearl glows brightly right after charging. I use my bearded dragon's UV light to charge the lume, and within a 10 second charge the watch lights up very brightly. I have an EL LV with mods by RBJ from early last year.. frankly there is no comparison.. The PT watch looks almost as good as genuine.. in fact if it was for the cyclops / data mag being slightly off center and not level it would be perfect.. I was even suprised to see the crown when unscrewed looked very much like the geniune.. the SELS on the bracelet are the tightest I've seen... Man on man you gotta love reps...
