How To: Replacing the Pearl on So Called Perfect Sub

so I ordered a replacement bezel from ebay, (florida watch and Jewelers)

i then taped up the bezel on my watch with blue painters tape to prevent scratches, then carefully used an exacto knife to pry out the pearl. if you do it correctly you will have the pearl pop out easily...its just held in place with what appears to be rubber cement or some thing similar (watch specific im sure)

i then took the pearl out of my new bezel by poking it from the back.

took a very very very small ammt of glue (your choice, i used superglue) on a toothpick, careful to not use too much or it WILL freeze your bezel in place. i used what looked like not enough and it was jsut right. touched it to the inner circle of where the pearl fits and pressed in the new pearl. perfect fit, no filing, no drilling of the hole nothing.... simple 5min job.

now i have a high quality aftermarket pearl, that actually has LUME to it....instead of the cheap zit looking pearl that came on the watch.

Pic of the After =)
