archibald
What do you guys think about the Montbrilliant, will come with the 28800 bph 7750 later on? Doesn't the gen have seconds @ 3:00? That would mean no Montbrillant rep for me...
JWR
i think he means the datora with all the complications

archibald
Yes that is right I would think they'll use the new 7750 eventually, unless the higher beat somehow makes it harder to successfully add all the complications.
shultz
I have a gen ETA 7751 in stock. Does anybody know if the Datora rep will take the gen movement without heavy duty moifications? I saw the pusher for the date set on the rep as on the gen and I am curious if a 1:1 swap would work?

anton
Well if the hand sizes are the same you should have no problem. The 7751 is after all, a variant of the 7750.
BobM
But I have been looking for a rep Montbrillant. The 38mm model, not the Datora. Where should I look to find one of this model, please? Is there one produced?

Now i could undersand this if it was a seconds@ 6 but ziggy broke down the new seconds @ 3 movement and gave it a big thumbs up due to all the new jewels used to transfer the drive to 3, it is now a 34 j movement have a look. anton
Now i could undersand this if it was a seconds@ 6 but The Zigmeister broke down the new seconds @ 3 movement and gave it a big thumbs up due to all the new jewels used to transfer the drive to 3, it is now a 34 j movement have a look. The new seconds @ 3 movement used on the recent Breitling reps are based on the use of extra gear plates to drive the mechanism, including the two datewheels. A montbrilliant rep would mean we have to deal with a recessed datewheel.
