Nanuq Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 Your dial just sold on Ebay... holy SMOKES was that expensive. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEDW%3AIT&rd=1
Richard Tracy Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 Jeeze... that's expensive...is this the normal price ?
V Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 I think the most expensive dial I've seen up till now was for a PN Daytona at around $500. A new record?? Have you seen Edge's dials?
jraines87 Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 No.... are they genuine? I wouldn't have thought a gen would ever go for $960 Chris listed some rolex parts here
ubiquitous Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 If the PN dial you saw was $500, then it was most likely a redial. True genuine PN dials sell in the 4 to 5 figures range. Yes- That's JUST the dial; nothing else. No joke. For the condition of the 6536 dial, the price was fair. If it were in better condition (and 100% genuine, original), it would have probably sold for quite a lot more. Remember- A vintage Rolex's overall value is 85% to 90% of the watch's value.
robertk Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 I just picked up MBW's bond sub for under $400. It needs almost nothing. dial is aged beautifully. now if I had a GEN, that would be different.
