jjajh Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Ahh Ryy Life has it's ups and it's downs. The trick is to look at the positives like I'm still walking, talking, fingers to key boards still work, travel is still standable although the 18 hours flights are starting to wear thin. All in all it is a pretty nice existence... but every so often I see this guy following behind me, and while I am sure he is not all that interested right now....who knows when....
ryyannon Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 He's following us, and we're usually breathing down the neck of his little sister... the human condition - don't know whether to laugh or cry Shoot the Piano Player? Music (and beauty) are still where it's at...

Considered by some to be the "Grandfather of Rock-and-Roll," his vocal phrasing, original songs, and guitar style influenced a range of musicians, including Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, U2, and Eric Clapton, who called Johnson "the most important blues musician who ever lived." Robert Johnson: Undies (to keep the thread on-topic):
ryyannon Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 "...He argued that the basic anxiety of [humanity] is anxiety about being-in-the-world, as well as anxiety of being-in-the-world." You can say that again.
