Guest carlsbadrolex Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 Are international packages still shipped EMS? Or are they shipped on the slow boat from China? Josh has a couple watches on his "free shipping page" that I am interested in. But Id rather pay for the shipping if its the difference between 1 week and 4 for delivery. Any experience?

Can't speak about Josh, but if even Paul offered free shipping and sent the item(s) EMS, I can't imagine that Joshua wouldn't. I too have my eye on his Noobmariner, still at a very decent price. For the record, Paul's packages were often the speediest of them all...despite what was in them.
ahchard Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 I dont think they ship by boat... haha... but as far as I know josh only ships ems... not sure since he set up the website though...
KB Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 Bergies Belts are free shipping but the packages still ship EMS Ken
narikaa Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 I think I am right in saying are Chinese shippers can only go the EMS route or else use DHL etc .
Corgi Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 Joshua usually ships to me with EMS even when shipping is free. Kenberg, a local collector here, shipped my beautiful Armani suit with EMS as well despite shipping being free (his is always free) - it is a very popular courier. I only had one other courier ever dispatched, and it was on my very first rep about this time last year. HMS Courier - and it arrived through FedEx of all things... Happy buying!!
lanikai Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 both Joshua and Andrew have shipped "free shipping" EMS .. all the time to me.. should be straight across the board
Guest Carl Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 "I think I am right in saying are Chinese shippers can only go the EMS route or else use DHL etc" Actually they can ship by registered airmail, if they want to offer it, and I always request this from Silix as I prefer it. Joshua's "free shipping" offers, from my personal experience, have come EMS in his usual armor-plated packaging. I have never had anything but trouble with DHL but that is only my own personal experience.
