Actually, the metal 'washer' normally found beneath the bezel on the 1665 (both gen and MBW) IS a spring. It should have a slight bend in it. The amount of bend controls the tension on the bezel -- the flatter the spring, the easier the bezel turns, the more bend in the spring, the tighter the bezel is to turn.

Your 1665 MBW should have the flat spring below the bezel. If it is missing, I would contact the person you bought the watch from.

Thanks for the correction Freddy, that certainly makes sense.

I thought Rosnik was referring to the retaining wire under bezels on CN subs.

That's some little decent pictures.

Note the GEN spring bars fitted and the case reduced at the spring bar area from 26.9mm at 26mm like GEN .

Just for info: I received two MBW 1665 from PASO in two weeks from the order.

Great deal with him; it's safe, fast and serous. ;)

Toni,

About the case,

I modificated just one bit to the correct shape by brushing and I polished it.......... :cc_scooter:

Yeah, but I'm talking about the distance between the crown and the case and I'm sure you didnt any modification there ;)

Just take a look to others 1665 MBW and check the difference....

That caseback is different to the previous Thai cases, so obviously some of us would like to verify if the case remains unchanged ;)

That's some extra, case back on place, pictures for you! :victory:

I hope you'll can get paragon.

PS: please, tell me if this MBW tube is compatible with one GEN Crown........

Well, I don't think so. I allways had to replace the full set.

But, yours seem a "new" MBW (My best watch)....

Can I ask when you ordered and when you got this one ?

(Pls I'm not looking for a "Paso is great, deliver fast, blabla" reply...)

I wonder if MBK changed their supplier for case backs and if so if it will remain forever or just for one batch?

Cheers

Stephane

Hmmm it is still a normal MBW case, nothing Vietnamese/Thai special stuff... The caseback - I never saw that one - great stuff. The crown tube, Stephane, I can tell you does definitely not take a gen crown, look at the diameter compared to the crown, way too thin.

Interesting watch, would be good to see the inside, at 9 - if there is a carving for movement removal as per genuine and maybe a working HEV. But I highly doubt both...

wait for 5 minutes please......... ;)
