Help! I think I messed up my 1950?

I have a very dirty crystal on the inside and thought I would try to fix it myself. I got the case back and crown guard off and took out the crown and stem. THen I didn't know how to get the movent out to clean the inside of the dial so I stoped and put it all back together. Unfortunately, the crown will not go to the winding position it will only set the hands now. Is there something I missed? Did I mess this one up?

Good luck. Stay calm. Everything in life is fixable. It just takes hope, courage and money...

I unscrewed the highest blue screw in the picture from my top picture and simply pulled it out (after removing crown guard).

Thanks.

More info needed.

How did you remove the stem?

You messed up the keyless works somehow.

Your only saving grace is if while unscrewing the small screw to release the crown, you only turned it at the most 2 turns, your ok and the watch can be fixed easily. If you turned the set lever stem release screw enough to disengage the screw from the lever, the watch has to come apart to fix it...

What The Zigmeister said.. No damage is done, a rep friendly watchmaker will have it ready in a few minutes with out any spares needed. You could do it yourself, only if blessed with steady hands and equipped with patience and tools. (I 've done it. It is not that hard) Good luck.
