wow, that dial has some resemblance between a planet ocean and the current generation of seamaster....I guess the design can always get "recycled", am I right? Thanks Rob for the usual great work and for taking the time to take these pictures.

thanks for posting this Rob. I love to see these types of watches becasue its not something we normally see here! I've always liked the bubblebacks even though it isnt a model i would ever purchase.

A nice piece, beautiful finish on the movement... Interesting to see how the rotor assembly seems to fit like a "hat" over the rest of the movement! This is a chronometer grade watch, so I guess it is quite collectable..

I have a 6694, Oysterdate. These small, vintage "cheap" Rolex'es are quite good buys if you dont mind the small size. :)
