perry563 Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 I have heard various answers on this one...... will a NOOB dial fit without issues in a MBW case?
Dizzy Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Yes the Noobmariner dial will fit into MBW 16610 case. Its an easy mod.. you just take the whole movement and dial and swap it into the MBW.. easy

Pugwash Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 WELL...That will leave you with a non eta movement in a MBW. How difficult is it just to exchange dials? Or you could always get an ETA Noobmariner.
bruce79 Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 WELL...That will leave you with a non eta movement in a MBW. How difficult is it just to exchange dials? That depends on how skilled you are at removing hands from a movement, which is the toughest part. I'm sure there are some how-to threads around. Just don't use tweezers, get yourself a pair of proper hand removers.
alligoat Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Yep, putting a true noob dial with the asian 21j movt on an eta movement is no cake walk. Remove noob movement from case, remove hands, remove dial, remove dial feet from dial, glue dial to eta movement (or movement ring), install new (or old) set of eta hands. Install in MBW case. That's why Pug says get an eta noobmariner- then you just swap the dial and movement into the MBW case and hopefully there's no problem w/ the crown/stems being compatible. Of course, you also end up with an extra watch- a noobmariner w/ an MBW dial and eta movement.
