dlgates Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Blasted fires have delayed the delivery of my new Assioma! No mail, no date it will start back up. At least I still have my house...... To heck with that. It would be good to know how our many SoCal friends in the affected areas are doing. I know one of my oldest friends had to evacuate from Scripps Ranch yesterday. I hope others will post as soon as possible to let us know if you and your families are all right...
eunomians Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Good point DLGates. L.A. is allergy city right now. Excuse me while I sneeze for the 2000th time today.
Victoria Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Good point DLGates. L.A. is allergy city right now. Excuse me while I sneeze for the 2000th time today. First half of Greece burnt down this summer, now San Diego, the OC, etc. My Aussie friends live in perpetual fear of fires during summer. Having been through a fire myself, as I mentioned, my prayers and deep sympathies go out to all those affected. I cannot state this enough, or with more sincerity. Stay safe people. And have a contigency plan, with passports, IDs, money, and valuables all packed ready to go. Our family have one, you can bet.
KB Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Indeed as Dave says thoughts and prayers going out from Oz for all in the danger zone. Ken
