Yes it's possible to find one in shitty condition for $800... but in that price range they're mostly quartz and midsizes (which people often mix up with the professional model).

I've seen autos, in fairly good shape for $800US. As a matter of fact, I almost pulled the trigger on one until this came along...

no no completely legit. i even have one on watch, pardon the pun, on ebay. after all, it was the watch i was first fascinated by. the watch i wanted when i was young.

Local Costco Store was selling it $1699CND last year. (about $1300US at this time)

I've seen the full size auto 2531 Bond 300's sell for $1400 US new quite regularly, so the price vric posted is inline with that figure. For used, count on 40% depreciation, and you have $840, which is right around where I mentioned prior.
