Pix
Hi folks, I was about to sell my 39mm Bell&Ross, as I found the original strap (leather or rubber) not complying to my taste and "quality" requirements... when I had the good idea to look at Jiro's collection and discovered a velcro strap, made to measure. The second I saw it, it had to be mine, and I must say that it gave my rep a new look which I'm absolutely fond of ! Gasgasbones (strap dealer on RWI) will manufacture the strap exactly to the case and your wrist's measures. So, small wrists like mine won't look ridiculous with a huge velcro I'd like to share some pics of my new toy. Hope the B&R fans will enjoy, even if that rep is a fantasy... b16a2
Nice shots as per usual Pix! Definitely something different about that kind of strap on the Militaryesque watches, certainly 'makes' the watch in my opinion!
FxrAndy
Nice Add on, looks great.
Stephane
Beautifull pics Pix. I agree that the stap makes the watch. I saw genuine B&R a couple of days ago (big ones) and it's really to big for me. Your 39 is the maximum possible to my opinion on such tiny wrist like ours. Cheers Stephane
Pix
Thx all The 46mm size is definitely the problem for B&R watches, besides the fact that you like or hate the square design. The 42 mm version is a good average, although I still find that quite big : square watches wear much bigger.
Estaban
Wearing my 42mm today. I really like the rep velcro strap. Have the rubber too. Not bad, but not as supple as a pam rubber. Here's a picture. A bit of smudge at the 4/5 mark. Cleaned up now. The AR on this watch is stunning.
Pix
PVD versions are awesome I agree, AR on a black dial is definitely recommended. Well, on my cheap one, they used plexiglas it seems : will probably scratch easily, but that's an inexpensive way to get rid of bad reflections. donm668
I like the strap, looks great! If you dont mind me asking, "how much"? I hear a lot of people saying the 46 is too big but I have an Orange PVD and I think the size is perfect. (7" wrists) Now some of the pams are HUGE! Pix
Hi, this one was 36 dollars. There are several kinds, including a much larger one for 46mm B&R. The easiest is probably to give the link to his website : http://www.gasgasbones.com/ Forgot this one...
