UB7
Also wanted to comment on the cubic-works datewheel - I really think that the slightly larger fonts on the overlay are not really/barely noticable - I think it lines up pretty nicely in the window and behind the mag... All in all the quest for this watch was quite a fun experience..
Heywood
I went down to the city and watchbuff taught me how to replace the stems...The stem is working great now, no problems setting the time/date - It's absolutely perfect ! Congratulations to both of you on a fine job. That's a great looking watch!
bscblue
This watch looks exceptional. Smart money! Just what do you think was the total cost for everything you did? Can you break it down?

piratedzeus
@Watchbuff Hey, I see rollings 16234 (18k wg) cases... the dials look old & dark partly, is this the case in reality?
Justasgood
Just got this back from watchbuff this morning, and he did a phenominal job! Much kudos to him, if anyone needs a frankenjust done, hes definitly the go-to guy. Stupid me got all excited when I was setting the time and date, I pulled it out to hack set and snapped the stem in half SO i figured i'd post some good quality pics before I send it back to watchbuff tommorow to replace the stem.. Everything on here is gen, except the bracelet which is an aftermarket jubilee..He swapped the clasp from my oyster band to this and it looks great!! Movement is a 2824-2 .. What do you guys think? Wow! Very clean........enjoy it........once it's fixed.

Guest watchbuff
Wear it in good health. I am going to Bell Textron in December for a week, I will take a stab at a Rolex AD for A DJ.
UB7
Out of curiousity, why not buy 1 @ a local AD? Or NYC? Lower prices?
Guest watchbuff
NYC is wayyyyyyyyyy too expensive. I know a dealer I get at near cost.
