tutima Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Some new pics of my EL Arktos with the Molina vintage brown strap I picked up yesterday.
shultz Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Congrats! That's a truly nice strap. I am owning a similar one which is from BOB. Thickness is 5mm!!! Nice!
pubus Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 I love the combo!! Strap looks so perfectly matched to your arktos!! where can I get a closer view on those Molina straps?

doopey Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Very nice strap, pretty cheap also. I think I'm going to try this guy soon.
dluddy Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Great looking combination. Certainly looks like a great value strap
thomasng Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 May have to get one these straps, I have the same watch, I like the different personality it gives it.
swdivad Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Great strap Tutima! I'm inquiring for one for myself now!!
tutima Posted June 5, 2006 Author Report Posted June 5, 2006 How soft is that strap? The strap has only been on my wrist for half a day. It still looks and feels a little stiff now. I'm sure it will soften up in a couple of days time.
swdivad Posted June 5, 2006 Report Posted June 5, 2006 I know it's a funny question, but how does it smell? One thing I've noticed about the more expensive straps (Europelli,Dirk,MPs) vs the less expensive straps (BOB, TC etc) is the smell... The more expensive straps have a very strong and beautiful leather smell to them. The less expensive straps just don't smell like leather, more like cardboard with a slight hint of leather. The Mettas are a completely different smell again... mmmmm Metta

This strap does not have too much of a leather smell compare to the other Molina vintage buffalo I have.
