chris5264
A contemporary watch on a vintage strap.. That's a strange combo I must say IMO paradox is the essence of panerai.
vdubpower
last i checked the watch style is supposed to be of vintage, last i checked it says 1950 on it
solicitor
Great pics! You can't beat a custom strap. Custom anything, for that matter. Isn't it weird, though, how they reversed the minute markers on the 212? I think they were cutting corners. 'Tis ashame, 'cuz otherwise I think it's a beaufiful watch indistinguishable from the Gen. I own a Rep with a plain black, Rep Panerai leather strap and I love it!.
chilidog
did you get that strap here? http://www.network54.com/Forum/282106/thre...let+for+sale.... ..its a looker....CHIL Edited June 4, 2006 by chilidog
swdivad
Nice vintage strap... but that combo just doesn't do it for me. I think the 212 goes best with a more refined strap:
Kenneth
Great looking strap! What is the link for the maker of this strap? Thanks for your help.

asands
Looks Great As far as the PAM chronographs go, IMO the 212 looks best with a vintage style strap, whereas the 196 is the one that looks better with a contemporary strap. So, in conclusion, nice choice
tutima
There is nothing wrong with this combo IMO. But I think this Greg strap will actually work better with the pvd PAM's (with a pvd buckle of course).
