lysis Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Looks like the Spitfire Laureus is out. Unfortunately, it looks like it's from the same factory as the IWC 3717 and not the Cousteaus. http://www.trustytime88.com/index.php?main...roducts_id=2247
SAS Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 I'm wondering if the blue is as glossy as the brown of the St Exupery.
saber0606 Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 I am thinking of buying it. My boss has the original one. Just like to know how good this rep is. The only thing that I don't like is that is doesn't have double ar.
lanikai Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 the maker is redoing the crystal to double AR .. I would wait
HauteHippie Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Looks like the Spitfire Laureus is out. Unfortunately, it looks like it's from the same factory as the IWC 3717 and not the Cousteaus. So, for the IWC dunces like me, what's bad about the 3717 factory? If it's just the AR, I'd want to put my own on anyhow.
cornerstone Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 Wow - this watch looks great. Nothing wrong with the 3717, a great looking rep IMHO.
yellomen Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 It looks quite good... slightly worried about the caseback engraving and how fine the 'background' engravings (fine engravings around the three persons on the caseback) are... they seem slightly rougher than of the genuine version. Also the 10 and 11 on the dial seems slightly different from the gen. Anyone else see some flaws?
Seadweller4000 Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 I am really excited bout this one. I'd love to read a decent review on it! From the pictures, it looks quite good...
yellomen Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 If anyone bought it i'd love a review!!
