@pman the problem with a thread like this is that it can easily be perceived as an attempt to sell through the back door, you state you want advice on price but you can also field inquiries and indeed sell if offered the right price.

I would help if you upgraded your account to show that you are in fact thinking of selling and through our trade area.

I understand your position. I am more than happy to remove the post if you wish. I joined the site two weeks later than you so I hope that credibility is not the issue. It was originally my intent to be a paying member but I'm not sure if I appreciate the "join and we'll share" sentiment. I don't feel that's in keeping with the spirit of the site. We're here to share our passion of watches and to share/discuss what we know.

Not for anything, but if you plan on selling your watch on this forum you will need to upgrade anyway, so why not do it now? It really does not cost much for a one month upgrade. Otherwise one could presume you are as Kenberg indicated, attempting to sell thru the backdoor, i.e. using the site to sell the watch without posting it on the forum.
