r11co Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 ..to the first person who posts here saying what it is I am seeing wrong with this web page. TAG Heuer F1
LeGambleur Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 (edited) The square with the TAG-logo (on the top) looks bad and does not melt in well with the background. What is wrong with the site: the webmaster. Edited June 8, 2006 by LeGambleur
Pugwash Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 ..to the first person who posts here saying what it is I am seeing wrong with this web page. Take your pic. Chrono hand instead of seconds-at-9 on a 7750 or a ticking quartz hand. Either will do, I expect.
r11co Posted June 8, 2006 Author Report Posted June 8, 2006 Take your pic. Chrono hand instead of seconds-at-9 on a 7750 or a ticking quartz hand. Either will do, I expect. Either will not do Pick one, with a reason now as I'm giving you a hint.
Pugwash Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 Either will not do Pick one, with a reason now as I'm giving you a hint. So, the watch is wrong and that's not what you're seeing ... The obvious one is the huge ticking second hand in the wrong place. I can't imagine what else it can be.
jonthebhoy Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 For maintenance reasons this page is temporarily unavailable. Thank you for your understanding. ....is what's wrong with it! JTB
Pugwash Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 ....is what's wrong with it! Eh? Worked fine here. Maybe everyone else is so used to the old RWG1 being fubar all the time that they think every page should be out of order half the time ...
jonthebhoy Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 Eh? Worked fine here. Maybe everyone else is so used to the old RWG1 being fubar Now I wouldn't know anything about that. JTB
jens Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 ..to the first person who posts here saying what it is I am seeing wrong with this web page. TAG Heuer F1 Kimi's McLaren not in fire ?
ryyannon Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 Other than the chrono functions, there are no hands on that watch. Four wheels on the F1, though.
jens Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 Maybe they should have pictured the formula 1 model, or even better the Mercedes SLR concidering their partnership with mcLaren, on the start page? They even have hands....
ehtolcad Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 the most glaring flaw that i see is that you are pointing us in the deriection of a *ahem* tag heuer
Guest HeWhoIsLikeGod Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 The chrono second is ticking and the 9 sub dial is what should be moving.
vric Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 (edited) It's a Tag.. Edited June 9, 2006 by vric
bres3000 Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 It's a Tag.. What vric said. Also, it appears that Tag sponsors an arab formula one car which implies the possibility that they are indirectly supporting terrorism, and that's just WRONG.
ryyannon Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 What vric said. Also, it appears that Tag sponsors an arab formula one car which implies the possibility that they are indirectly supporting terrorism, and that's just WRONG. I don't know what the situation is today, but TAG originally signified 'Trans Arab Group', a conglomerate encompassing a number of Middle-Eastern countries. In light of that, it would be surprising if they weren't sponsoring the car in question...
r11co Posted June 9, 2006 Author Report Posted June 9, 2006 (edited) The chrono second is ticking and the 9 sub dial is what should be moving. This is EXACTLY what I was seeing, although I gave the cash to Pug as he sort of said it first. PS. I see that all that US Government indoctrination about Arabs being terrorists is sinking in quite well... PPS. I feel I should give another $50 to Jens Edited June 9, 2006 by r11co

fitmic Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 And I've just found where the Trans Arab Group are hiding all their weapons... LMAO
Pugwash Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 This is EXACTLY what I was seeing, although I gave the cash to Pug as he sort of said it first. Yay! Only sort of?
jens Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 PPS. I feel I should give another $50 to Jens Yes, I think so too . I need them, the tax man robbed me today jens
jens Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 What vric said. Also, it appears that Tag sponsors an arab formula one car which implies the possibility that they are indirectly supporting terrorism, and that's just WRONG. Well, arabic car ? The team in question is in fact McLaren Mercedes. McLaren is one of the oldest Formula 1 teams around with 40 years in the game. They are a british team, based in UK, and one of their owners (and engine supplier) is DaimlerChrysler, a german company with some history as well. One of their sposors is the airline company 'Emirates' another one is TAG. So implying that TAG support terrorism is to me a little bit strange. Following the same track one could say that Chrysler, as part of DaimlerChrysler, is supporting terrorism as well .
