yellomen Posted December 16, 2007 Report Posted December 16, 2007 There used to be a cheaper version... not as good as the $250+ rep but my father is more than happy with it and some of his friends eyeball his wrist all the time when he is wearing that nice IWC They all have no clue and just know the name (IWC) and that it should have a sweephand... so he loves it. I actually offered him to wear my Ingenieur (the expensive one) so his might be available if he agrees. It has a dark blue dial, steel is matte and has somesort of titanium look and it has of course a chinese movement. Let me know if you're interested...
qwert750 Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 Yes, there was another version prior to the current one. I was an early adopter of the new Ingenieur and was sent the old version on accident by Andrew. He then sent me the new one and told me to keep the original for the trouble. I've never sized the old one (just sits in the watch box), which is quite a bit different than the current model. Here are some pics including a couple with "new" version (which serves as my daily beater)...
Mark Eleven Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 (edited) Yes, there is some very cheap craps. This one is found on a Malaysian auction website. Only selling at RM68 (appr. $ 22), real cheap,... but I wouldn't touch it. Edited December 17, 2007 by Mark Eleven

I'm saving for the 200ish version. thanks all
FxrAndy Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 Get the new one with AR, it is worth it
yellomen Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 By cheaper i was pointing to something in the 150$ mark.. I'm saving for the 200ish version. Better be a little more patient and save the money untill you can buy the double AR version... it rocks!!
yaron Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 This is the one with double AR advertised in Josh's website? This is the "ultimate" version?
barbosas Posted January 12, 2008 Author Report Posted January 12, 2008 This is the one with double AR advertised in Josh's website? This is the "ultimate" version? Yes it is.
Ptolomeo Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 Yes it is. In my opinnion the ultimate version is a "super-rep". It's got the gen feeling you can find in the SFSO.
yaron Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 Thanks guys, I am convinced, mine is on its way, hope to see it by next week
