tanya
Hi all Waiting on my first rep which was shipped via China EMS. According to the tracking number, today it was handed over to customs. Anyone have any experience with this??? Is this normal in the transition or does it mean it was seized by customs??? Any help would be welcome!!!!!
Antonio_Montana
That is a normal procedure, it doesnt mean that they are really checking the package, if it stays there a couple of days than they might have checked it and things could be bad. Just wait a couple of days

arty909
Typically, 'handed over to customs' is a bad translation of the normal process of 'going through customs'. Relax; I'll bet you have no need to worry. Best, Arty
tanya
Thanks Brothers I live along Chicago's North Shore. Feel much better now though. So when someone says 7 days shipped via EMS it is prob more like two weeks?????
freddy333
And to answer the next likely question, the tracking info will probably remain at its current status until the day (or day before) the watch arrives on your doorstep. Apparently, incoming tracking of packages from some countries does not update in real time in the US.
Victoria
Thanks Brothers I live along Chicago's North Shore. Feel much better now though. So when someone says 7 days shipped via EMS it is prob more like two weeks????? Sister, here, Tanya. Very few collectors actually name the anticipated date of arrival, since anything can happen, especially during Christmas. If your collector did, that was most unwise. The wait is usually 7-10 days, with 14 being absolutely normal. Only after a month should you start to worry. Just in case you are tracking the package via the EMS English site, you should be checking USPS' tracking service now. EMS are hopelessly inaccurate. USPS can be, but once your watch is Stateside, they're better. Good luck to you.
FxrAndy
It should be ok dont worry untill it stays like that for over a week.
r11co
Patience is a virtue at this time of year I just had a package (not watch related) take 4 weeks from Hong Kong, including the 'handed over to customs' process! Previously it took 5 days!
