rodwc
Yes, its been photographed and talked about to death, so please indulge me. I finally got my Superocean Steelfish, Swiss ETA ,today, do I like it, NO. I LOVE IT. It really is my best to date, and thanks to all you guys for all the info. on this model. The next pic is of the clasp. (rep) How they got the recess and the dimple so far off, beats me. The opposite side is spot on. This is a gen. clasp end. (pilot bracelet) Lume looks pretty good and bright to me. The 10 and 2 are a tad off centre The 6 numeral has had a finger wipe, before assembly, as with the date box. The crown, when un-screwed, feels a litttle wobbly. Has anyone had or found this before? The dial in the case is about 30 minutes offline, ( from the 12 rider) Does anyone know if there is any adjustment, with the movement securing screws, (internally)? Bracelet pretty easy to size, although some swarf was found on the screw threads, (these screws would be easy to strip with the amount of swarf found ). All in all, I like it, it feels a pretty substantial watch, and the wearer certainly knows it is there. The above comments are what I saw, ( not nit picking). That's the way it start out some times....then she finds a watch she likes and then it gets ugly
FxrAndy
Not all of them but she takes a bit of an interest, she has a 217, ex 2, SOSF and a gen Aqua terra, a 1940s vintage invicta. She got the gen so that way she cant complain when i spend a couple of hundred, I think i have well surpassed the cost of the gen now though! rek001
Fxr, would it be possible to see a wristshot of your wife wearing the SOSF? I'm a girl with 6.5" wrist and I'd love this watch but I think it's too big for me. Thank you!

rek001
Hey, Mrs. Fxr is rocking that SFSO, looks great! Thanks much to the both of you for the photo, nice strap too, Fxr. I think I will re-consider this watch, it seems to wear smaller on leather strap than steel bracelet.
rodwc
Who was the dealer you got it from? This one was from Andrew. 6 days from ordering to receiving, China to Australia. rodwc
This one was from Andrew. 6 days from ordering to receiving, China to Australia. Flawless transaction. Emails answered in minutes, etc. etc. Interesting to see, just how a topic can become so far off thread ,from the original post. (Think it is termed highjacking) So no one can answer the original questions posted?
FxrAndy
Unfortuanatly i dont understand what you are asking in the original post, if the dial was 30 mins out it would be upside down?
The Red Baron
That date font looks pretty good in the first pic! A bit more disguised than the typical ETA font, no??
rodwc
Unfortuanatly i dont understand what you are asking in the original post, if the dial was 30 mins out it would be upside down? Degrees, minutes , seconds. 360 degrees to a circle Each degree is split into 60 minutes. Each minute is split into 60 seconds. 30 minutes is 1/2 of 1 degree. Not much I admit, but it can be seen. FxrAndy
Ah Sorry, Military i work in mils, being as the dial is attached to the movement and so is the stem then may be not, but you never know, ziggy may be would know.
rodwc
being as the dial is attached to the movement and so is the stem then may be not, but you never know, The Zigmeister may be would know. Thanks for that, I hadnt considered the stem in the case, or for that matter the cg clearance with the crown. Still there might be just enough clearance for the offending error.
