predfan2001
Well my collection has changed a little after my September post. I starting working on them a little more. I've parted out a few and sold the Sea-Dweller. There are a couple more I may get rid of and a few more I'd like to buy. All and all I'm pretty happy with what I have. They all work well and at this point I don't have to worry about product quality with new watches near as much as I used to. If I get a screwed up watch now, I just fix it. (back to front) Rolex 5513 Submariner with a chocolate dial Omega GMT with gen band Franken Zodiac Red Point Pro in a "not so good" Submariner case and a Timex solid Oyster with a ETA 2836-2 (my beater) Omega UPO Rolex 5513 Submariner that started out as my 5517 (my favorite) Omega GMT on a black NATO Franken Tudor Hydro that also started out as a 5517 (it may get a cyclops and Sub hands soon???) Silix Bond Submariner on a skunk NATO

predfan2001
Thanks. I'm not big on dressy watches. No gold or chronos for me. Just good ole stainless tool watches!
Jetsons
Excellent watches and a very cool vintage collection. You did terrific work on most of these. The 5517 conversion is something I've thought about but wasn't sure how large the lug holes would be with the bars removed. They are apparently fine. The Tudors are terrific! Slartibartfast
Great collection, I have some catching up to do in the vintage class! Love your choices

The 5517 conversion is something I've thought about but wasn't sure how large the lug holes would be with the bars removed. They are apparently fine. They are a little larger than gen but they're not that bad. They actually look larger when you look at the ends of the fixed bars when they are still in the case. When one of mine came out a light bulb lit up over my head. Gen springbars work well. If I can sell my brown dialed Sub I'm going to order another 5517.
