predfan2001
But I guess it will be a starting point for a weird looking franken once I get some markers installed. 27.5mm so it could even fit in a Noob case.

predfan2001
Yeah it ought to be interesting. I want to put in a modern Sub case but can't picture what color bezel insert would go with white. Maybe start with a Yachtmaster??
alligoat
I've actually seen a similar dial that had Submariner written above the depth rating. Case was a Datejust type of case with a smooth ss bezel as I recall. Maybe from the late 70's, early 80's. And I think that dial would look good in a Sub case with the black divers bezel. Some of the vintage sub cases which are smaller will take a 27mm dial- the modern sub reps generally are 28mm dials. This was one of my first reps- a fantasy Sub. predfan2001
I found out what this dial is today. It is an incomplete Tudor Tiger Sub dial. It never had the markers installed. Now I need 3 triangle markers and 8 round markers. The dial fits my rep Sub case perfectly and I have a real swiss 2836-2 movement ready. This should be interesting.
