coolfire Posted February 17, 2008 Report Posted February 17, 2008 As mentioned in lello's thread, those interested in getting SOSF DWs, please post in here... He has mentioned a few days back that he may start a production run of these if there are at least 20 people interested. I won't be the one collecting payment though. Guess we'll all still have tp pay him direct. lello, hope you're looking... Not forgetting, I want one! Let's get the ball rolling...
musicale Posted February 17, 2008 Report Posted February 17, 2008 Are these for Asian movements or for the Swiss movements?

promotersf Posted February 18, 2008 Report Posted February 18, 2008 Lock and load on a 2824 datewheel as well. Thanks for the 2892 DW lello, my 027a project thanks ya!
coolfire Posted February 18, 2008 Author Report Posted February 18, 2008 We're almost halfway there now... Anymore takers?

jdkno Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 (edited) I would be in for one as well 2824-2 Edited February 19, 2008 by jdkno
jdkno Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 How far along are we? Also I thought the 2824 date was pretty close to the Gen date? Either way I am in for one.
freddy333 Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 What happened to the metalized datewheels for ETA 2846 Subs & Seadwellers that I thought were in production a month or so ago from the same source?
LegendofSpeed Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 i thought i had already posted..... i'm in for one for sure.... it'll finish my sfso!
coolfire Posted February 23, 2008 Author Report Posted February 23, 2008 Still halfway there, people! Keep the posts coming, so that lello will take notice...
peterastahl Posted March 27, 2008 Report Posted March 27, 2008 Still halfway there, people! Keep the posts coming, so that lello will take notice... Whats the price, where do I have to ship the watch?
LegendofSpeed Posted March 27, 2008 Report Posted March 27, 2008 Figure $50-60 to be safe... and he would send you a datewheel... from there you would need to procure installation of that DW
musicale Posted March 27, 2008 Report Posted March 27, 2008 Still wondering, these SOSF datewheels are for Swiss ETA reps? Or for A7750s (Navi etc)?
LegendofSpeed Posted March 27, 2008 Report Posted March 27, 2008 SFSO would be for 2824.... lello already has 7750's should you need one... he may in or out of stock at the moment... the purpose of this thread was to entice lello to make a 2824 specific one for the SFSO...
peterastahl Posted March 27, 2008 Report Posted March 27, 2008 Figure $50-60 to be safe... and he would send you a datewheel... from there you would need to procure installation of that DW Is it hard to install ? Im a amateur and got my Eta 2824-2 today Whats the big differense? I compared my datewheel with the one at breitling.com and i couldnt spot a differense..
musicale Posted March 27, 2008 Report Posted March 27, 2008 Thanks for the reply. The ETA SOSFs are all 2824 and not 2836, right? I thought I remember seeing somewhere that some of them are 36s.
LegendofSpeed Posted March 27, 2008 Report Posted March 27, 2008 I hadn't seen that... but 28xx all interchange parts from my understanding.... 2824 is a higher end movement due to finishing and tolerances from what i have seen... kinda toyota versus lexus if that makes sense... as for the install, leave it to a professional.... unless you have plenty of experience already because most will screw it up...
coolfire Posted May 6, 2008 Author Report Posted May 6, 2008 Sorry to bump this after so long guys... But no more interest?
