I know that i s very hard to get a tube but maybe an after market tube from ofrei will fit the crown. Can someone give me some input in regards to use it or not. The water resistence will be better, and its not wrong for the watch. freddy333 Posted February 22, 2008 Report Share Posted February 22, 2008 You will have alot of trouble locating the proper tube for that crown (assuming it is a genuine vintage part), and, if you do, it will probably be very expensive. I agree with the others that a modern 703 is the way to go. This is the part that Rolex would fit to the watch during a normal service. I hope I don't have to replace mine on my Tudor 9401. It is very true the rule about vintage Rolex is -there are no rules or many exceptions to them...
