Martyd3
Well, the short answer is that I am not sure. The insert snaps in bezel with a positive click and sits perfectly below the lip of the bezel without any sanding, grinding, moaning or groaning. It is very hard to make the insert in an MBW look this way and none look like this without a lot of sanding. So I guess that may make it worth $60 (especially if you are using a genuine insert). Other than that, the teeth on the Clark bezel are more rounded (almost like a bezel with a some wear on it) and the bevel on the bottom of the bezel is less pronounced. It looks nice. You really can't see that in the pic because I modded the MBW bezel to look worn. The Clark bezel is also machined better, but mainly on the back where you can't see it. It snaps on very tight, almost too tight to turn at the moment, but I think that can be fixed with a little bit of adjustment. You do need to use the Clark tension ring to make it work, although visually the rings look to be the same size. Would I do it again? I will let you know once I find a gen insert The Clark bezel is on the right ...
watcher
I think the clark bezel looks good and for me the lip is always a negative point on all reps. I wonder if they do an SD version too?? Thanks for the pics.
