rblippy Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 After a rep watch is introduced, will the factory at a later date make further improvements??
andreww Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 Generally not. I believe that all parts are made in bulk, so no improvement can be made until those parts have been depleted. You don't really see any improvements until the next generation is released.
piratedzeus Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 Sometimes... Dust on CD 06...... bezel on SSD.....
Pugwash Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 In some cases, if a watch sells really well, a worse version will follow it.
Corgi Posted April 8, 2008 Report Posted April 8, 2008 After a rep watch is introduced, will the factory at a later date make further improvements?? Whenever the rep factories make "improvements" to existing watches they always screw something up along the way - that used to be good. Perfect example: vintage Daytona. It used to have the trailing subdials issue, but when they decided to fix that, they re-did the entire face and made it look totally goofy.
