I have found Parcelforce to be far too costly but Royal Mail is much better. It's weird as they are both part of the same outfit but their pricing structures are very different.

The problem seems to be keeping it trackable outside the UK. Most of the cheaper options stop tracking once they leave the UK

Thanks though James, the options are not heavily advertised on the RM site :D

If you want to track it all the way use Airsure through the Royal Mail. However, not all receiving countries use this, so you'll have to check if Thailand is one of them. If not send it Int Signed For, can track it up until it leaves the UK.

Parcelforce is a courier service.

Royal Mail is a normal postal service.

no Airsure for Thailand.

Airsure tracking is kinda basic anyway.

ALWAYS demand a refund if the delivery date was later than promised. Three weeks for a three day service would have me raising all kinds of hell with Parcelforce, believe you me.

Royal Mail have NEVER been late on any of my Special Delivery packages. Almost annoys me sometimes as I'd rather wait an extra day and get the money back. ;)

Thanks Mickey, I will check that one out as well.

I have used them a lot, create an account and after your first order you should get 5% off.

I sent a package with them to mainland Europe. Big box 40x35x30 or something and roughly 2.5kg. I selected the DHL option and it cost about

Now that is a sweet deal indeed Mickey

I know I could not believe the price! They have various couriers and speeds of service to choose from, you can't go wrong! Just make sure you are in for collection :p
